CNN.com - Report: Bullies at risk of becoming criminals - Sep. 4, 2003: “WASHINGTON (AP) — Bullying shouldn’t be dismissed as a harmless schoolyard rite of passage, according to a report that found bullies and their victims often develop behavioral and emotional problems later in life.

The study by Fight Crime: Invest in Kids, a national advocacy group, documents how bullying spawns loneliness, depression and suicidal tendencies among its victims and foreshadows crime and violence by perpetrators.”

Not only did it take years and years for what all of us that were bullied in school to be confirmed by scientists, but someone somewhere actually devoted grant money to this.

Blow me. Better yet, give me a blank grant proposal. I’ve some ideas to run by you…
